Right-wing pundits went from calling it “natural seepage” to “Obama’s Katrina.”

Mugsy (Democratic Underground): In the weeks immediately following the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform on April 20, 2010, Conservative pundits quickly tried to minimize the amount of damage we could expect from all that oil washing ashore, comparing it to “natural seepage” from the ocean floor. Then the oil started washing ashore, and suddenly this was “Obama’s Katrina.”
