The big day is May 21, 2011! That’s according to Allison Warden, a representative from the Raleigh, N.C.-based WeCanKnow.com:
“The Bible teaches that Christ is returning on May 21 and we want to encourage people to go to Scripture and investigate for themselves. All information in the Bible points to this date. God is going to be saving people right up until the last moment.”
Also according to the AJC, following the rapture for believers on May 21, God will destroy the world on Oct. 21, 2011.
Is this God’s way of saying he doesn’t want Sarah Palin to run for president either?

More Rapture stuff this way →

Oh dear, and here I thought we had at least until Dec 21st 2012 things went to Hell in a handbag. I guess I’ll skip organizing the closets!
Seriously, I’ll be interested to see what she has to say when 5/21/11 comes and goes, just like every other time someone predicts the rapture cometh.
They HAVE to have some plan for 05/22/11, the day after it doesn’t happen. Like God heard all the prayers and gave us more time or something lame like that. “Join our church, we saved the world!” : )
What I find fascinating is the number of people brainwashed by this nonsense. They also seem to actually look forward to this event. They seem unconcerned for the human trauma, the lives cut short, the innocent children who will never have a chance to grow up. The Rapture sounds like pretty scary shit to me, let alone the 5 months of torment that follows before the final destruction of the Earth. God is one wicked dude, er, deity.
5/21/2011 = 5, 3, 5 = 13 = 4 divisible by 2 = 2. Hmmmm.
All I know is on the 22nd of May, if I’m so lucky, I’ll have 16 years sober.
I grew up surrounded by these religious types. Firstly they cannot be serious about ‘knowing’ because as stated in their own Bible, the time of Christ’s return is UNKNOWN. I’m sure, however, Kirk Cameron has something to add.
Stamping Out Harold Camping
I don’t care a fig for date-setters, especially those who predict when Christ will return. The current champion is 89-year-old, headline-grabbing Harold Camping of Family Radio fame.
Is Second Coming date-setter Harold Camping worthy of death? He already has a zero batting average after his September 1994 prediction fizzle and, according to the Bible, is a false prophet.
Nevertheless that California shaman, who should be ashamed, claims he’s found out that Christ’s return will be on May 21, 2011 even though Matt. 24:36 says that no one knows the “day” or “hour” of it!
A Google article (“Obama Fulfilling the Bible”) points out that “Deut. 18:20-22 in the Old Testament requires the death penalty for false prophets.”
The same article reveals that “Christians are commanded to ask God to send severe judgment on persons who commit and support the worst forms of evil (see I Cor. 5 and note ‘taken away’).”
Theologically radioactive Harold Camping and his ga-ga groupies (with their billboards featuring “May 21, 2011″) should worry about being “stamped out” if many persons decide to follow the I Cor. 5 command.
The above article concludes: “False prophets in the OT were stoned to death. Today they are just stoned!”
PS – For many years Camping was not known as a pretrib rapture teacher. But now, for $ome my$teriou$ rea$on, he seeks support from those who believe in and teach an imminent, pretrib rapture which supposedly will occur SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE the traditional SECOND COMING to earth! For a behind-the-scenes, documented look at the 181-year-old pretrib rapture belief (which was never a part of any official theology or organized church before 1830!), Google “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” “Pretrib Rapture Diehards” and “Pretrib Rapture – Hidden Facts.” These are from the pen of journalist/historian Dave MacPherson a.k.a the “Pretrib Rapture Answerman” & the “Rush Limbaugh of the Rapture” – author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot,” an “encyclopedia” of pretrib rapture history (see Armageddon Books).
Heeeey, don’t give stoners a bad name!
I think that Jesus Christ might come on December,12/2012 in Jerusalem.
I think Jesus will come 12/12/12 I hope so!
The Rapture is a fairy tail
This is a warning and a call that the secret rapture is a fairy tail and has deluded millions of Christians into a false notion of escapism.
First of all you have to understand that the WORD was given to Hebrew people, not a Jew or a Christian.
So in the world today there are three thoughts / mindsets: the Hebraic Thought, the Judaic Thought and the Christian Thought.
In western thought, the ‘heart’ is the seat of the emotions, and especially that of love. It is important to realize that in the Hebraic thought, the heart is the seat of the MIND, INTELLECT and WILL.
So western thinking is often misunderstand, so for example scriptural love is not an EMOTION, but an action of obedience.
So when we look at the first five books of the Bible, also called the Torah, we know the TORAH was written to Hebrew people, who spoke the Hebrew language and had a Hebraic culture.
The Torah does not say anything about the rapture, you may remark. Do i think the Torah literally says something about the rapture? NO
However, if you are familiar with the Torah as a prophetic document, you should not be surprised that many actually address this subject in some manner.
In order for this teaching to make sense, we must understand the PROPHETIC NATURE of the TORAH.
The Torah is a shadow of things to come, so for example Paul stated that the stories of the Torah were written for the BENEFIT of the generation upon whom the end of the ages had come! 1 Corinthians 10:1-13
So, there are thematic connections between the Torah and the Book of Revelation.
Are these mere coincidences ?????
The Christian rapture theory says Jesus Christ will return suddenly at any moment and secretly take away the Christians leaving behind everyone else to wonder what happened to them.
I DO NOT KNOW WHERE YOU WOULD FIND A SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR SUCH DOCTRINE?
It makes a good story line for a novel, but it is not scriptural.
Matthew 24:29-31 * these events could hardly be kept secret, for every one to see. ETC
2nd Did you ever studied the origins of the secret rapture theory, which was virtually unheard of and untaught until around 1830, it essential to examine its origins first.
What does Matthew 24:40-41 says, does it really pertain to the rapture? The CONTEXT is one in which we find the judgment of the ungodly.
And Parable Passage (LUKE 17:34-37) the disciples ask where will those who are taken, be taken to?
VERSE 37: a place of judgment/destruction, a place of carcasses and vultures.
Ref. Parable of the weeds & Revelation 19:17
And last but least, the biblical understanding of being TAKEN AWAY? ISAIAH 57:13 40:24, 64:6 EZEKIEL 30:4 33:4 DANIEL 11:12 HOSEA 1:6 ETC
I think I would rather be LEFT BEHIND!
JOHN 14:2
Inside my Father’s family there is plenty of room. If this was not the case, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place just for you.
It is very difficult to understand how a house is able to obtain many mansions. The word mansion does not appear in Greek, and the word HOUSE in Hebrew often means FAMILY.
It is better to translate family in this context.
Our heavenly Father’s family is open to receive any believer or disciple of his son. Proverbs 30:4
He is preparing a place for his disciples what does it mean? You may find the answer on the Internet the PDF 504 Jesus & the false secret rapture or visit saviorministries.nl
The Rapture is a fairy tail, do not be deceived!
Short version: The bible is a fairy tale.
Who to follow? Fools or Fairytales?
Heh, I’ll take the fairytale even though it’s not been around as long as the ‘fools’ have been!
Ready or not when it’s time, it’s going to be time. Is it 5/21? No idea. But I believe in the deity you fools have been mocking. So we’ll just see who sees those old vultures. Peace out!
Isn’t your message kind of negating that last “peace out”, Nancy? Obviously, Christian.

Now what?
Really? Where did they read that? I have a bible app for my phone, that has 33 different translations, and none of them have a date listed for the rapture, in fact all of them say that nobody knows when the world will end.
Unless they have access to secret plans by Obama to start a nuclear war or zombie apocalypse, then they are just nutballs.
I Think this is just a bunch of Bullcorn it’s just because an old person false predicts it and think he can do it twice. I don’t care about Christians they do the crazy stuff. I will remain an Atheist.
