Still think you don’t need to vote? Election model with 100% success predicts Romney victory

Election model with 100% success rate for past 30 years predicts Romney victory | The Raw Story — If the economy remains the same between now and November, Mitt Romney will win the 2012 elections, according to a model that correctly predicted the last eight presidential elections. The election model, created by University of Colorado political science professors Kenneth Bickers and Michael Berry, predicts that if the election were held today President Barack Obama would win only 218 votes in the Electoral College, short of the 270 he needs. Romney would win 320 electoral votes. The prediction is based on a number of economic measures, including both state-by-state and national data.

This model is based solely on the economy and employment figures. The professors acknowledge unforeseen factors could change how one or more states end up voting.

If you don’t want to wake up on Nov. 7th with a President-elect Romney — do something about it. Vote.
