Halfway. Stay warm.
Cold but lovely.
We made it to Friday.
Fridays are like…
Enjoy it while you can. November is only two days away.
May your morning commute be pleasant.
And may there be a resolution soon for feds who are working without pay, and for feds who are furloughed from their jobs completely.
Eight hours to go…
We’re past the hump and rolling straight through to Friday.

Let’s begin our day with something lovely and calming.
When someone in Washington pisses us off later… *remember the lake*
It’s only Wednesday, but it’s already Wednesday!
And it’s all downhill…
Not only should we go to France for breakfast this morning, but we should also eat outside as much as possible before it gets too cold.
Also (thanks Juanita!) I thought I had scheduled Morning Coffee yesterday but, nope, it was still sitting there in my queue. I blame waking up at 2:00 AM and starting work about 3 hours later — because what else is there to do after you’ve been up for 3 hours?
I’m hoping that not being able to get back to sleep was just a weird thing that happened and does not signal a resurgence of my insomnia (fingers crossed).
Meet the new kids – we’ve had them about a month and a half, they’re brother and sister, and they’re 13 weeks old. The mostly gray one is Linus and the white and gray tiger is Lilu. They look super cute, don’t they? Lemme tell you, don’t be fooled. It’s a scam, for appearances only. Try sleeping in this house at night.

This seems nice. I’d be happy with a little rain, some not 90+ degree weather…
