Fear and loathing in Teabagistan: heckler screams at President Obama, “You’re the antichrist!”
The screamer started out with the typical “argle bargle Jesus Christ, one true GOD” things, but security grabbed him after a few seconds and “antichrist” was shouted before they dragged him out.
…
Naturally, the antichrist worried that the young man had left behind his coat when security invited him to share his thoughts on God elsewhere.
Judging by his behavior, I’d guess this young man was probably an audience member at one of the recent GOP debates who applauded executions or the deaths of the uninsured.

Clinton condemns Koran burning plans:

Petraeus compares extreme religious right with the Taliban
On the plans to burn Korans on 9/11 by Terry Jones’ church, Petraeus says, “‘It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses…” Exactly! Anyone who isn’t a rightwing religious extremist can see it. The American Taliban.
No doubt the accomodationist left will clutch their pearls and the righties will reach for their fainting couches, but Petraeus is spot on.
Gen. David H. Petraeus on Tuesday denounced plans by a Florida church to burn copies of the Koran this weekend, saying the demonstration could ‘endanger troops’ and damage the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan.
‘It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems,’ Petraeus, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, said in a statement. ‘Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community.’
Both the extreme religious Christian right and the Taliban would welcome Holy War and the end to civilization as we know it — how else can they get to Heaven faster?
