Michelle Malkin is a shitty person, but you already knew that

C&L: Who was today’s official Fox puppet, with all the GEORGE SOROS talking points memorized, defending the “poor, oppressed millionaires and billionaires and standing up to those evil union thugs and Occupy protesters”? None other than good old twitchy, angry Michelle “Internment Camps were a great idea!” Malkin:

According to Michelle Malkin, these strikes aren’t about protecting workers, but are about protecting entrenched big labor power. During an appearance on Your World, Malkin called the protests a “toxic combination of these left-wing activist groups funded by George Soros … along with a rag tag group of Occupiers across the country who’ve been fomenting this kind of agitation for agitation’s sake for more than a year now.”

She stressed, “People really need to understand that these big labor thugs do not have workers interests at heart.”

I didn’t count how many times the words “Soros” and “thug” were used in the video clip, but it was enough to convince me that Fox has subliminal messaging down to an exact science. The thing about both of those words in the context of Walmart and Black Friday? It’s a flat-out lie about George Soros being involved with this strike / boycott — pure Fox creative fiction.

And secondly, if there’s a group of thugs in this current situation, it’s certainly not the unions or the workers or labor. I think the more accurate term we could use here would be corporate thugs – those people who intimidate and rob their workers (and the taxpayers) to keep all the profits for themselves.

I believe Michelle Malkin would defend the money changers in the Temple against Jesus and his 12 thugs — after Fox wrote the talking points for her.

The only person still unaware Luke Russert has a job because of his dad is… Luke Russert

Huffington Post: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi had a sharp exchange with NBC reporter Luke Russert on Wednesday.

Twerp Russert: “Some of your colleagues privately say that your decision to stay on prohibits the party from having a younger leadership and hurts the party in the long term. What’s your response?”

Nancy Pelosi: “Next! Oh, you’ve always asked that question, except to Mitch McConnell!”

Russert: “No, excuse me. You, Mr. Hoyer, Mr. Clyburn, you’re all over 70. Is your decision to stay on prohibiting younger members from moving forward?”

Pelosi: “Let’s for a moment honor it as a legitimate question, although it’s quite offensive. You don’t realize that, I guess.” She went on to say that she had no concerns about the question Russert raised, adding flatly, “the answer is no.”

Shorter L’il Luke Russert: NANCY PELOSI’S AN OLD WOMAN! Why is she a leader of anything?!

Really, someone needs to say to Luke Russert, “Some of your colleagues say you’re an untalented rightwing hack and the one reason you’re currently employed as an NBC reporter is ONLY because of your father’s legacy. What’s your response?”

It’s called nepotism, Luke — or a “legacy hire,” if you like.

Watch:

Rep. Joe Walsh wants to “pat [Pres. Obama] on the head” and call him “son”

“There’s something different on the ground, and I think it’s going to overtake us all again, think it’s going to overtake the political class, I think it’s going to respectfully pick this president up and pat him on the head and say, son, son, son, Mr. President, you were never ready to be president, now go home and work for somebody and find out how the real world works.” — Rep. Joe Walsh (Tea-Racist), Sunday at a campaign event.

This past Fourth of July, Joe Walsh also said that Tammy Duckworth, a combat veteran who lost both her legs in Iraq, wasn’t a “true hero.”

This is the type of person who the tea party worships. The country would be a better place if this guy was voted out of Congress.

Honk if you’re a dickhead!

Romney’s online PR firm, Buzzfeed, breathlessly reports: “For the second time in as many weeks, Mitt Romney’s campaign taunted President Barack Obama outside a speech.”

How does Buzzfeed define “taunting the president“? “Romney’s campaign bus circled Obama’s fundraiser at Boston Symphony Hall Monday night several times, according to Romney deputy press secretary Ryan Williams… honking its horn as it passed… [T]he bus made “a few” laps before local police closed the roads around the venue before Obama’s arrival. They plan on bringing the bus back after Obama leaves to attend another fundraiser.”

Who else but Willard Romney would have the courage and insight to pull off this ingenious stunt? Imagine the manpower and weeks of planning: having a bus with your name on it circle a building several times — and honk its horn too! Mission Accomplished! What’s next — prank phone calls? Whoopie cushions? Smell the butter?

“Who cares? Who cares that she wasn’t invited into the club? She’s a woman! Women aren’t allowed!”

CNN contributor and rightwing shithead Erick Erickson offered his opinion on the recent debate about Augusta Nation Golf Club’s policy of not allowing women:

For years, the exclusive club has made a practice of offering an invitation to IBM’s CEO, which sponsors the Masters tournament. But on Tuesday, Augusta chairman Billy Payne refused to say if they would break from nearly 80 years of tradition to invite Ginni Rometty, IBM’s first female CEO.

“Who cares?” Erickson, who founded the blog Redstate.com, asserted on his Friday radio show. “Who cares that she wasn’t invited into the club? She’s a woman! Women aren’t allowed!”

“See, the president is trying to make everything political. President wants to have it both ways. He wants to go play at the Masters. Oh, you’re darn right the president wants to go play at the Masters, but he thinks women should be allowed, they should be members. Why must women be members of Augusta National? Why? Because it’s the last bastion of sexism. I thought the Republican Party was the last bastion of sexism and misogyny in America. Oh, wait. They nominated Sarah Palin to be vice presidential nominee.”

Erickson added: “And of course, Mitt Romney, ‘Well, I think women should be allowed too.’ At least, he’s smart enough to know that we don’t want to wade in to the war on women with Augusta. It is striking to me just how political the president wants to make everything. The war on women coming home to the Masters. Who freaking cares?”

“I would love to be a member of Augusta National one day after I get my private jet, but at the same time I don’t really care. And I don’t care that the Masters is a male-dominated event. I don’t care that women aren’t members of the Masters. Frankly, I kind of like the idea that women aren’t members of the Masters. Good lord, I don’t want to hang out at some women’s event.”

I’ll just add: WTF, CNN? Seriously.
