I love listening to John Green of VlogBrothers and would like nothing more than to explore an abandoned hospital or place — for all of the reasons which John explains quite well in the video.

Plus since I’m actually in a hospital today, it sort of fits the theme doesn’t it?

BBC’s Being Human

I recently discovered Being Human (BBC version) on Netflix and love it.  (I specify the BBC version because apparently there’s an American remake that sucks.) As the title suggests, Being Human is more about what it means to be human than the fact that the three main characters are a vampire, a ghost, and a werewolf. 

I’m not a fan of the current vampire genre at all.  But Aiden Turner in the cliché role of sexy vampire works and not just because of his pretty face. He does an excellent job with the humor which, I think, would be more difficult for an actor than the smoldering, angry vampire parts.  

And, omg, that Irish accent…

Video: Seth Meyers remarks at the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Things were EXTREMELY GRIM at the Trump table during Seth Meyers’ remarks. This video starts at the point where Meyers starts talking about Donald Trump, and the camera reveals just how much The Donald is able to laugh at himself — which is to say NOT AT ALL.

It’s hilarious because then Seth moves on to the President and the Vice President, and you see Obama laughing — at himself.

That’s commonly known as social grace and a true sense of humor. President Obama has both.
