SNL and Bill Maher on The Undecided Voter

We’re all pretty tired of it…

“There’s still a lot we don’t know. And we want answers.”

###

Bill Maher also tackled undecided voters on Friday night — AND the media who celebrates them:

Huffington Post: With less than two months until the election, Maher advises those who still don’t know who they’re voting for to “stay home” on Nov. 6, because they probably won’t be able to find their polling places. He doesn’t understand why undecideds such as “Octomom” Nadya Suleman are being celebrated or painted as more discerning than the rest of us when Barack Obama and Mitt Romney couldn’t be more different.

“And that, in a nutshell, is America’s celebrated, undecided voter: put on a pedestal by the media as if they were Hamlet in a think-tank, searching out every last bit of information, high-minded arbiters pouring over policy positions and matching them against their own philosophies. Please, they mostly fall into a category political scientists call ‘low information voters,’ otherwise known as ‘dipsh*ts.’”

Shit Newt Gingrich says

“I don’t want to bloody his nose, I want to knock him out.” -– Gingrich on Obama at a townhall in Florence, South Carolina

Well… this might be more of a threat if Newt didn’t need help getting up from the couch, followed by hands-on-knees fart-coughing, before shuffling into the kitchen for more donuts.

jusayin…

“The TeaParty doesn’t have a spokesperson and it’s certainly not Michele Bachmann.”

…so says American Majority president Ned Ryun. Oh, really?! SINCE WHEN?

Josh Voorhees of Slate:

So much for that “Tea Party favorite” label.

The leader of a key Tea Party-affiliated group wants Michele Bachmann to call it quits and end her bid for the White House.

In a harshly worded statement posted on the group’s website Thursday, American Majority president Ned Ryun said that Bachmann’s campaign “has become less about reform and more about her personal effort to stay relevant and sell books,” and that the longer the Minnesota Republican stays in the race the more damage she risks doing to the conservative movement.

As CNN, which first spotted the post, points out: American Majority operates in seven states, trains thousands of supporters and is “liked” by more than 371,000 people on Facebook. Its suggestion that Bachmann step aside is the first time a well-known Tea Party group has so publicly turned on one of its own during the presidential campaign.

From the comments:

  • davej — Wow. 371,000 insurgent terrorists operating under the label of American Majority.
  • Enkidu — The TP is pretty much defined by what it doesn’t want, which is everything.

From the CNN comments:

  • Rick — So is she not crazy enough for the tea party or too crazy? I didn’t quite get that.
  • Andi — I can’t stand Bachmann, but the group is called ‘American Majority’? That’s funny.
  • CA Dream USA — Wow…How’s that hate Obama working for YA?
  • Wayne — Wow, this is like excommunication in the Catholic Church! Love it.
  • ThinkAgain — “American Majority”? They don’t represent me – and they certainly don’t represent the 66,882,230 voters who chose President Obama over McCain in 2008 (10 million more voters than McCain, to be precise). This group is vocal, but their agenda is as nonsensical and misleading as their name.

America not buyin’ it

America by Heart(burn)So apparently YOU’RE not getting “America by Heart” for Christmas and I’M sure as Hell not getting “America by Heart” for Christmas, and a WHOLE LOT of other people aren’t either — because sales on Mistress Palin’s second book are down 82% from the first book.

With the hundreds of thousands of ABH books languishing in a warehouse somewhere, Newsmax and other teabag outlets need to step up the mass-purchasing-to-make-it-look-like-a-best-seller game.

Maybe she should have worn more FLAG.
