Alex Jones and “the Aurora Theater Shooting Was A Staged Event” conspiracy

Like anyone else, I love a good conspiracy theory. Here’s one that isn’t: below is a video clip of Alex “Crazy for a Profit” Jones arguing that the Aurora Theater Shooting was a “staged event.” By the way, I would be shocked if Alex Jones was not on the NRA’s payroll (see images below).

In his spectacular midway-barker style, Jones “connects the dots” for us between James Holmes and the theater shooting to the upcoming UN Arms Treaty Conference, Fast and Furious, the Uni-bomber, Jared Loughner, Columbine, MK ULTRA, the “Globalist Command Center (the alternate US capital) in Denver / Colorado Springs, President Obama and the Democrats and, naturally, the opening of the actual Batman movie itself.

Of course, he calls this “analyzing” the event.

In Alex Jones’ “analysis”, the real victim here is James Holmes — your typical “patsy” who was drugged up and duped to take the fall. This is MK ULTRA stuff, people! Just like Jared Loughner in Arizona, Jones says.

What really happened in that movie theater? Well, some “black-op” masked operator came into the theater and did the shooting (JUST LIKE COLUMBINE!). Then James Holmes was drugged with “amnesiacs” (since he wasn’t killed immediately, LIKE WITH COLUMBINE) so he would then take the blame. BOOM. Get it? Where’s your God now, sheeple?

I guess Holmes must have been covertly drugged with “PCP and LSD” practically 24/7 over the past few months while he ordered and received the almost 100 shipments that contained his 6,000 rounds of ammo, body armor, and explosive materials. It all makes sense now. No wonder he wasn’t doing well at school.

And by the way, what’s this upcoming evil librul commie event where they’re comin’ fer our guns?

NRA Kicks Off UN Arms Treaty Conference With Fearmongering: …Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has also said that treaty is “opportunity to promote the same high standards for the entire international community that the United States and other responsible arms exporters already have in place to ensure that weaponry is transferred for legitimate purposes.” A senior policy advisor to the humanitarian organization Oxfam America has also pushed back against claims that the treaty has the nefarious purpose of interfering with domestic law: “No government is discussing a treaty that would ever impact the right to bear arms, nor require regulation of domestic sales of arms,” said Scott Stedjan, a senior policy adviser at the relief group Oxfam America. “This is totally about international transfer of arms so that they don’t go to human rights abusers.”

Those words from their mouths are code for globalist takeover. They are so totally compiling our names in their secret computer database for firearm confiscation AND for the mass roundup of the real ‘Mericans into FEMA camps.  Don’t be fooled, people: buy gold, more guns, and survival seeds now.

The personal stockpile of James Holmes: exactly like the Founding Fathers intended

Reuters: “The gunman was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and a Glock .40-caliber handgun… Police found an additional Glock .40-caliber handgun in his car…. Holmes had purchased the weapons legally at three area gun stores in the last 60 days and bought 6,000 rounds of ammunition online, including a 100-round drum magazine for an assault rifle.”

CBS News: “Investigators also tell CBS News they have …interviewed a UPS driver who says Holmes had 90 packages delivered to his workplace on the University of Colorado medical campus.  And sources say over the past several months, Holmes spent about $15,000 as he was putting together his deadly arsenal — guns, chemicals, explosives, and ammunition. [...] Holmes did most his shopping on Internet sites. And he was clearly in a hurry. A receipt from TacticalGear.com shows on July 2 — two-and-a-half weeks before the shootings — Holmes purchased a bulletproof vest and other equipment. He paid extra to have it shipped by 2nd-day air.”

The Courier-Journal: “President Barack Obama will travel to Colorado on Sunday to visit with families of victims of the movie theater shooting. White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer announced plans for the trip on Saturday night. Aides say the trip will also include meetings with state and local officials.”

KUNC: “Hospitals report that 7 patients are still in critical condition” (including Veronica Moser-Sullivan’s mother, Ashley Moser, 25).

Updates on breaching the apartment of Aurora shooter James Holmes

Running updates on the operation to breach the apartment of Aurora theater shooting suspect James Eagan Holmes:

11: 17 a.m. – Aurora Police have advised media to stand behind their vehicles. They are confident in the safety of the perimeter, but are advising this extra precaution.

11:35 a.m. – Expecting an airhorn blast in 5-10 minutes; and then a detonation.

11:40 a.m. – Peoria St. is closed.

11:44 – The controller detonation has happened.

11:47 a.m. – Detonation was successful. Peoria is now reopened.

The living room of the 800-square-foot apartment is littered with about 30 softball-sized improvised explosive devices, according to a bomb technician at the scene.

Bomb technicians used a water bottle device to disable the “9D trip device” in the apartment, according to a source at the scene. They sent the device in with a robot, the robot dropped the water device and then retreated.

“[James Holmes] rigged his apartment with what authorities fear are deadly explosives and blared techno music from his stereo in what’s believed to be an attempt to invite more devastation when the door was opened.

“[...] Kaitlyn Fonzi, a 20-year-old biology student at University of Colorado Denver who lives in an apartment below Holmes’ said she heard techno music blasting from Holmes apartment around midnight. Another tenant said residents called 9-1-1 about the racket. Fonzi went upstairs and knocked on the door. When no one answered, she put her hand on the knob and realized the door was unlocked. Fonzi decided not to go inside the apartment. At almost exactly 1 a.m., Fonzi said, the music stopped.”

Red carpet premiere of Dark Knight in Paris cancelled after shootings

“Warner Bros., makers of “The Dark Knight Rises” have canceled the film’s red carpet premiere in Paris on Friday night in addition to media interviews with director Christopher Nolan and cast members. The Hollywoord Reporter said Nolan and Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Morgan Freeman were at Paris’ hotel Le Bristol to promote the film. However, journalists at le Bristol for a daytime press conference were told to leave. In a statement, Warner Bros. said: “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. Denver law enforcement now dealing with James Holmes’ booby-trapped apartment

And things get complicated further. We wish authorities luck as they try to defuse what sounds like a serious explosive device at Holmes’ apartment. (via AP, Reuters; read more here)

EDIT: Via MSNBC (ht Matt), apparently the explosives are dangerous enough that they’ve evacuated FIVE nearby buildings.

James Holmes’ mother: “You have the right person.”

ABC News: A California woman who identified herself as the mother of James Holmes, the 24-year-old man federal authorities said is the suspect in a mass shooting in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater, told ABC News her son was likely the culprit, saying, “You have the right person.” The woman, contacted at her home in San Diego, spoke briefly with ABC News and immediately expressed concern her son may be involved in the shooting death of at least 12 people overnight. “You have the right person,” she said, apparently speaking on gut instinct. “I need to call the police… I need to fly out to Colorado.”

How strange (and, yes, chilling) that in her last blog post, dated June 5, 2012, she’s discussing how she narrowly missed a shooting in the food court of Toronto’s Eaton Centre last month, and how it continued to haunt her:

Late Night Thoughts on the Eaton Center Shooting

“I can’t get this odd feeling out of my chest. This empty, almost sickening feeling won’t go away. I noticed this feeling when I was in the Eaton Center in Toronto just seconds before someone opened fire in the food court. An odd feeling which led me to go outside and unknowingly out of harm‘s way. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around how a weird feeling saved me from being in the middle of a deadly shooting.

“[...] I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given.

“I feel like I am overreacting about what I experienced. But I can’t help but be thankful for whatever caused me to make the choices that I made that day. My mind keeps replaying what I saw over in my head. I hope the victims make a full recovery. I wish I could shake this odd feeling from my chest. The feeling that’s reminding me how blessed I am. Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, and now James Holmes

AURORA SENTINEL: “It was the worst mass shooting in Colorado since the Columbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999. Students Eric Harris, 18, and Dylan Klebold, 17, opened fire at the school in the Denver suburb of Littleton, about 15 miles west of Aurora, killing 12 classmates and a teacher and wounding 26 others before killing themselves in the school’s library.” (via: inothernews)

What rightwing domestic extremists? JT Ready: border vigilante, white supremacist, baby killer

On that shooting in Arizona (not surprisingly) yesterday which left five dead, TPM reports:

Longtime white supremacist and border vigilante JT Ready saw himself as part of a war that few others would fight. He amassed weapons. He donned a uniform. He formed his own brigade of volunteers to walk alongside him as he hunted what he described as “narco terrorists” flowing across the Arizona-Mexico border.

On Wednesday, reports out of Arizona said Ready died, not at the hands of drug runners, but with his own gun during a mad rampage inside a suburban home just east of Phoenix. Along the way, the reports said, he took the lives of four other people, including a toddler.

The Arizona Republic reported the victims were Ready’s girlfriend, her daughter, the daughter’s boyfriend and the daughter’s 18-month-old baby. Ready still somehow managed to use the event to blame immigrants even after his death. A posting on his Facebook page appeared hours after the massacre took place.

“Reports are unconfirmed that a cartel assassination squad murdered JT Ready and several of his friends and family this afternoon in Gilbert Arizona,” the posting said. “This page’s admin will keep you updated of the situation as soon as possible.”

TPM called Ready’s cell phone late Wednesday, but a message on the other end said the line had been disconnected or was no longer in service.

Maybe if we as a country fought as hard for universal healthcare (to include mental health) as we do for our Second Amendment rights, these kinds of typically American acts of violence would someday be not so typically American.

On Sunday, instead of being a wife, mother and NPS Ranger, Margaret Anderson became a statistic when she was shot and killed at Mount Rainier National Park. She was the first law enforcement officer, from all agencies, killed in the line of duty this year.
